Since 2013, the former Methodist Chapel in Alveley has been a community hub and tea room., owned by St Mary's Church. The Chapel also currently hosts a youth club. To enquire about private hire of The Old Chapel, please contact us.
The tea room is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (10.30am - 4.30pm) throughout the year, and serves a delicious range of home-baked cakes and light lunches. Included in the menu, is a selection of gluten- free cakes.

Whether listening to recorded music or live performances, this club offers the opportunity to enjoy and discover different types of music.
Visiting guest musicians will enable you to learn about various instruments and even try playing them. We offer an informal, fun and friendly atmosphere with light refreshments.
Music Club meets on the first Friday of every month and anyone is welcome to attend. Sessions currently run from 2.30pm - 4.30pm (October - March). From April - September, sessions are run from 7.30pm - 9.30pm.
There is a small charge of £3.00 per session to cover expenses.
The Youth Group has been successfully running for a number of years and is run by our qualified youth worker alongside a team of fabulous volunteers.
Fun and lively sessions are held during term time at Alveley Old Chapel, and run from 6.00pm - 7.30pm.
The youth group caters for 9-13 year olds and includes a range of indoor and outdoor activities. There is a small fee which is currently £2.00 per session to help cover the running costs.
